Tourists’ Motivation in Wetland Destinations: Gornje Podunavlje Special Nature Reserve Case Study (Mura-Drava-Danube Transboundary Biosphere Reserve)

The main objectives of this research were twofold: firstly, to evaluate tourists’ perception Gornje Podunavlje Special Nature Reserve, one the four significant protected areas within Serbian part Mura-Drava-Danube Biosphere and secondly, identify motivations behind visits wetlands their overall satisfaction with visits. In addition, study was also focused on relationships between aforementioned constructs socio-demographic characteristics visit characteristics. Finally, attempts address motives for visit, image satisfaction. findings showed that each three remaining factors had Satisfaction experience. conducted in form survey period May 2020 April 2022 sample 216 visitors. Relationships are found identified improvement requirements, Motivation spending time particularly wetlands, perceived biodiversity image. there duration experience nature future behavior.
